2.Product Introduction
mFOSN is based on the FOSN miniaturization design, which uses the same algorithm and software as FOSN, so the operation and usage of the two are the same, but mFOSN is smaller and consumes less power.
3.Specifications
mFOSN includes the fast alignment pattern (5min, single position) and standard alignment pattern (about 25min, double positions). It is able to develop into the combined navigation system which features GPS/DVL.
6.1 Pure Inertial Navigation Positioning Accuracy
Pure inertial positioning accuracy within the standard alignment pattern: ≤1nm/h (50%CEP)
Pure inertial positioning accuracy within the fast alignment pattern: ≤2nm/h (50%CEP)
6.2 Fast Alignment Pattern Attitude Precision
The attitude precision of the inertial system under the fast alignment pattern is as follows:
● North finding accuracy: ≤0.2°×sec (local latitude) (1σ);
● Pitch and roll accuracy: ≤0.02°(1σ).
6.3 Standard Alignment Pattern Attitude Precision
The attitude precision of the inertial system under the standard alignment pattern is as follows:
● North finding accuracy: ≤0.1°×sec (local latitude) (1σ);
● Pitch and roll angle precision: ≤0.02°(1σ).
6.4 Combined Navigation Positioning Accuracy of the Standard Alignment Pattern
The positioning accuracy within the GPS assisted navigation pattern and the DVL assisted navigation are as follows:
● GPS assisted navigation pattern: ≤10m (RMS);
● DVL assisted navigation pattern: the precision is 0.3% of the voyage.

Heaving accuracy: ≤5cm or 5% (the larger figure will prevail).
