The SG30-SP is a fully solid-state digital closed-loop, low-to-medium precision single-axis fiber optic gyroscope based on the SAGNAC principle. It consists of an SLD light source, fiber optic coupler, photodetector, integrated optical phase modulator, fiber optic sensing loop, circuitry, and structural components. Specifically designed for servo-stabilized platforms, it features small size, high update rate, low latency, low noise, and high bandwidth, making it an ideal choice for low-to-medium precision angular rate sensors and suitable for a wide range of applications in various types of stabilization platforms.
